Praise God!

UCB Ireland launched on satellite on 27th October 2008 after much prayer, hard work and a number of miracles along the way. This is Ireland's first Christian satellite radio station, bringing God's Word from our studios in Dublin. This new station can be found on Sky Channel number 0214.

Here are some pictures of the new studios in preparation:-

New Directors.

We are proud to introduce three new Directors of UCB Ireland and we look forward to a fruitful relationship over the years to come.

Moya Brennan

Moya Brennan grew up as the eldest of a musical family in Gweedore, Co Donegal and is the singer with the Irish group, Clannad as well as enjoying a successful solo career as a Christian artist.

She is an active supporter of Teen Challenge Ireland and is the Goodwill Ambassador for the Christian Blind Mission for whom she travels internationally.                 .

Moya sees her directorial involvement with UCB Ireland as a natural progression of the relationship she has had with the station as a musician and is keen to see Christian radio firmly established here.

She and her family – husband, Tim and children Aisling and Paul – live in South Dublin.

Raymond Robinson

Raymond Robinson lives in Waringstown, County Armagh. He is married to Julie and has two daughters, Hannah and Rebekah. Raymond is currently on the staff of a large Belfast Church and has a background in a wide variety of business sectors, including Banking, Consulting, Advertising, IT and FMCG with specialisms in Communication and Strategy.

Raymond has a passion for the local church and its place in this world and in people understanding the true meaning of worship. He continues to minister and teach in worship and has a website dedicated to this purpose ;(www.christianflute.com).

He is honoured to be part of the UCB Ireland Board.

Tony Carey

Tony Carey has lived in Limerick all his life. He is married to Jackie,  and they have four children:  Laura, Colin, Ellen and Rachael. He owns and manages Copytype (Ire) Ltd, a company which has been selling office equipment for over 25 years.

Tony became a Christian in the 1970's and today is a leader in Door of Hope Christian Fellowship in Limerick and ministers to prisoners and drug addicts  as the Lord gives the opportunity

One of his greatet desires is to see Christian Radio available throughout the Island of Ireland for benefit and blessing of the Irish people and for that reason he was delighted to join the board of UCB Ireland.
