Turning to God in a time of need is a natural thing to do - in fact, it's what our heavenly Father wants us to do! But sometimes we need help, the problem is too great, and we don't know how to pray. UCB Prayerline is there to help. Whatever the issues you are facing, trained Christian volunteers will take your call and pray for you and with you. The service is totally confidential but it is not a counselling service. Our volunteers are there to bring your needs before God.

Would you like to be a blessing to the people of Ireland but don't know how?
The growth of Prayerline since it began has been phenomenal. Initially, we installed a room in Hanchurch in the UK where a handful of committed volunteers came to respond to calls a few days a week. When Prayerline decided to set up 'satellite groups', we were able to expand and are now able to respond to thousands of calls per week. In 2007 over 5,700 calls were received from Ireland and so we are keen to build these satellite groups in the Republic as well as expand those in the North.
If you or your church are interested in being involved, this is how they work:
We need a few volunteers from a group of churches to commit to answering Prayerline phone calls for a 3-hour block once a week. Could this be you? UCB would give you training, help install the telephones and pay all expenses. All calls for prayer are at low cost local rate.
