The Word For Today

Since its first publication in 1994, with an initial print run of 3,500 in the UK, The Word For Today has been used to bring bite-sized Bible teaching, instruction and encouragement. Written by Bob Gass who was born in Belfast, this free resource is used by the Holy Spirit to speak directly into people's situations.

Through reading the devotional every morning thousands of people's lives have been changed. Bob says, 'This devotional is a kick start for cold mornings, when you don't feel like reading your Bible or find it a bit dry, that's when you need a good injection of inspiration. That's what I want to provide for our readers, something to focus their minds on God's goodness'.

There are to date about 100,000 copies despatched each quarter within Ireland.

The Word 4U 2Day

After having received thousands of requests from our supporters and two years of investigation and planning we decided to produce a contemporary version of The Word For Today. In conjunction with The Message Trust, a Christian youth ministry based in Manchester, our popular devotional was adapted to appeal to the younger generation in society.

The first edition of The Word 4U 2Day rolled off the press in time for August 2003 with  a print run of quarter of a million  copies. Since then it has increased in popularity and attracts a wide range of ages. However to keep up with today's youth culture a brand new look W4U2D has been relaunched in 2008.

Our heart's desire is to allow the young generation the chance to hear and read about Jesus Christ, the Son of God and to help them make a conscious decision to follow Him.

Would you please pray for The Word For Today & The Word 4U 2Day that God will continue to use them to bring 'a word in season' to those who need it.
